Ulthury (ウルトリィ) was the crown princess of Onkamiyamukai. She later became the Oruyankuru when her father, Waabe, passed the position to her.
Appearance[]
Ulthury is a woman with long blonde hair done in a loose ponytail. She had blue eyes and white bird wings. She wears a circlet with a green jewel and had a green hair accessory. Ulthury also wears a white leotard that she covers with green pants. She fastened it with a belt and sash. She also has a green scarf and arm warmers that matched her outfit. She wears simple shoes that looked like white tabi socks.
Personality[]
Ulthury has a kind, caring personality. She is very mature and understanding. Wise and perceptive, Ulthury often gices advice to her friends and associates. One of Ulthury's greatest wishes was to become a mother, as she has a fondness for children. However, Ulthury can sometimes be stubborn and selfish, particularly when she attempted to kidnap Fumirul. Ulthury's desire to be a mother lead her to greatly get attached to Fumirul and that lead to her wanting to keep her with her instead of returning her back to her parents. However she comes to an understanding later thanks to Hakuowlo and Karulau and decides to return Fumirul back. However Fumirul never forgot Ulthury and came back to be with her once she grew up. Fumirul calls Ulthury her mother.
Biography[]
After the foundation of Tuskur, Ulthury volunteered to act as a mediator for the country. After seeing the beauty and energy that it had, she decided to stay against Munto's wishes. After Hakuowlo was sealed, Ulthury and her people would stand guard over his resting place and wait for his return.
At the time of the Yamatan Civil War, she was still serving in her role as the Oruyankuru. When Karulau and Touka set up their inn, the Hakurokaku, in Yamato, Ulthury was there to assist them. Later, she appeared to tell Woshis, one of the Eight Pillar Generals, that Tuskur would not give out information regarding Hakuowlo's resting place.
Lost Flag[]
In Utawarerumono lost flag timeline. In her character story, she was playing with kids, taking them in arms and then flying in sky to make them happy. When Akuta saw this he was pretty impressed. Ulthury told Akuta she would show him around too and took him into her arms and flew into the sky. However from above they saw a woman getting her things stolen by a thief, Akuta asked her to drop him on the thief. Ulthury hesitates at first but then does so. After he is given a first aid kit by her and lectured about his recklessness. Ulthury then tells him that she is gonna take of him tonight.
Relationships[]
Camyu - Little sister. Although she can scold her at times for her mischievous behavior, she deeply cares for her.
Karulau - Childhood friends. They are often seen drinking sake together.
Hakuowlo - The two are great friends in the anime. In the visual novel, they spent a night together and enter in a relationship. It is implied that Ulthury knew that Hakuowlo was Uitsualnemetia's good half.
Eruruu - On her first visit, Ulthury revealed she knew of Tuskur, Eruruu's grandmother. When she heard of her passing, Ulthury comforts Eruruu to let out her concealed feelings of sadness in order to move on. She also provided counsel to Eruruu in terms of her feelings for Hakuowlo and advised her not to let her pact put limitations onto her.
Kuon - She was one of the mothers who raised Kuon. In episode 7 of The False Faces, she is shown discovering Kuon sneaking outside to play instead of doing her studying.
Fumirul - An abandoned baby that Ulthury took care of, she grew very close to the child until she was forced to give it away to the real parents. She knew that what she did was necessary and right, yet still grieved over it.

- Ulthury and Karulau have known each other since they were children, as shown in the picture drama.
- Even in the generally-consistent English localizations of the games, Ulthury's nickname is not consistent. In Prelude, her name is abbreviated as "Uly"; in the Mask games it is abbreviated as "Ulth".
